Welcome to Emirates Osteopathic Society website. Our registered members are qualified osteopaths working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who meet all the required standards of osteopathic practice.

WORKING IN THE UAE

In order to work in the UAE, osteopaths need to have at least two years professional experience and need to pass an exam to obtain the local license to practice. They can apply for a license via one of these regulatory bodies: Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) or Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (HAAD), depending on the location they plan to work in.
To learn more about licensure of health professionals in the UAE, please visit the following links: DHA – Licensure of Health Professionals DHCC – Professional License Service HAAD – Health Professionals Licensing If an osteopath holds a HAAD license for Abu Dhabi but wants to practice in Dubai, he needs to follow Professional Qualification Recognition (PQR) guidelines for the transfer of his license from one emirate to another. All osteopaths are required to renew their professional license annually.
